Friday 26th August
5pm Children’s Play area opens in Crokers Car park (Bouncing castle etc).
7pm Assemble for parade in Garranbawn car park.
7.30pm Parade begins featuring Mary from Murroe entrants in open top cars with community parade. Live trad music with ‘Louise Ryan and Friends’
8pm Official Opening of Mary from Murroe festival by Bill Whelan of Riverdance.
8.30pm Introduction of Mary from Murroe contestants.
Barbecue in Crokers
10.00pm Music in the Marquee with Mad for the Road.
9.30pm Live Music – Valley Inn with The Bad Livers
Saturday 27th August
11am 5km Fun Run (registration in Community Hall from 9.45am or pre reg. murroe5k@gmail.com or click here ). Live trad music with ’Louise Ryan and Friends’
12.00-3pm Incident Truck and Room (beside playground)
2pm- 3pm Children’s Sports (athletics) 6-15 yrs in Harty Park
2pm-5pm Street Bazaar.
3pm Fly over by Coast Guard Helicopter.
3-5pm Meet Evanna Lynch (aka Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter) in Muintir Na Tire Hall. Come in fancy dress – there will be a prize for the best costume of any Harry Potter character!
4pm-6.30pm Adults Sports: Tug of War, Sheaf Throw, Long Puck.
7.45pm –10pm Mary From Murroe Contest resumes with a break from 8.45p.m– 9.45p.m
10pm Live Music in the marquee with T.B.C followed by D.J till late

12pm- 2pm Pitch & Putt Competition
2pm-3.30pm Murroe History & Mythology Walk and Talk. Meet at Ashroe Cross. More details here
3pm The Mossy / Mary from Murroe Donkey Derby
6.30-8.30pm Murroe/Cappamore Comhaltas Group at Power’s Pub Abington. Followed by Music Session and Sing Along.
8pm The Third annual ‘Mossy from Murroe’ pageant followed by Mr. DJ in Croker
