Nominations for New Community Council for Murroe
Murroe Community Council is the body behind various initiatives locally including the new playground, Mary from Murroe Festival, the community website (www.murroe.net). Every three years, the council is re-established with two representatives for each electoral area.
If you are interested in becoming a representative for your area or if you know of someone else who would make a good representative, why not submit a nomination form? Forms will be coming through your letter box this month (the Council is trying to reach as many houses in the area as possible). Additional forms are being made available on this website (click here and print off the form and accompanying map) at local Post Office and shops.
Nomination forms must be returned by Saturday 29th October to one of the boxes in the Post Office or in one of the shops in Murroe.
